Application Support Specialist

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a solutions‑driven Application Support Specialist to provide comprehensive support for its enterprise applications, primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. You will work with a global team in a multicultural environment, ensuring system stability and user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for application‑related questions from global staff.
• Provide Level 1/2 support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and other enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, collaborating with end‑users, vendors, and internal technical teams.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
• Manage support tickets through ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Document issues, resolutions, and configurations in the knowledge base.
• Support system go‑live and hyper‑care periods, then transition to standard support.
• Assist with integrations between D365 F&O and systems such as Kyriba, Emburse, FastPath, and SK Global.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of application or functional support experience, preferably in the nonprofit or international development sector.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Dynamics AX.
• Fluent English communication skills.
