Architecture Manager (MA) – Nairobi

About the role

The Architecture Manager will lead design, supervisory and implementation services for projects across Africa, reporting to both the Head of Country & Business Development and the Head of Architecture. This full‑time position is based in Nairobi and offers flexible working hours within a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of design, build and fit‑out projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with clients to capture requirements and ensure project specifications match their vision.
• Develop, monitor and control detailed project plans, timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and external consultants.
• Participate in monthly online Command Centre meetings and contribute to policy formation.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism while handling confidential information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Building Construction.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural design, project management and construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• PMP or equivalent project‑management certification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Competence in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with additional drafting or rendering software is an advantage.
