About the role
The Automotive Technician will be responsible for installing Cartrack units on client vehicles, ensuring each fitment meets the company’s quality standards. The role combines technical installation work with post‑installation diagnostics and strong customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Install Cartrack tracking units to prescribed quality standards.
- Diagnose and repair any issues that arise after installation.
- Capture and upload fitment photos and complete vehicle inspection sheets before and after work.
- Maintain accurate records and report any anomalies through the proper channels.
- Achieve a minimum of four fitments per day while adhering to appointment schedules.
- Provide courteous, professional service to clients and ensure vehicle care.
- Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the technician manager and safeguard company assets.
Required profile
- Diploma or certificate in Automotive Engineering and full qualification as a motor‑vehicle technician.
- At least two years of recent post‑qualification experience in a reputable motor dealership.
- Auto‑electrical diagnostic qualification and a valid motorcycle licence.
- Stable work history, preferably with experience on Japanese and German vehicle brands.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving aptitude, and excellent communication skills.
