Building Automation HVAC Solutions Operations Supervisor

About the role

Lead a team of installation specialists and commissioning technicians delivering new‑construction building automation and HVAC solutions for customers in the Chicago area. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor the System Specialist team; set goals, monitor performance, and conduct review meetings.
• Guide the team through planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.
• Schedule and assign installation and commissioning tasks, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Maintain and improve margins for technical support programs and manage project profitability.
• Develop and use project plans to monitor execution, review customer feedback, and drive account growth.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, and execution teams to resolve changes and minimize cost and delays.
• Serve as the local leader and customer representative for the operations team.

Required profile

• Early‑career professional with experience leading installation or commissioning teams.
• Proven ability to manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong focus on meeting schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Capability to maintain customer relationships and drive account growth.
• Accountable for profit‑and‑loss of assigned projects.
