Caregiver Manager – Home Care Leadership

About the role

Family Resource Home Care is seeking a Caregiver Manager to lead and develop a team of in‑home caregivers in Portland East, OR. You will ensure high‑quality, compassionate care while supporting caregivers’ growth and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to align client needs and market insights.
• Prepare new caregivers for their first day and coordinate orientation requirements.
• Facilitate weekly orientation sessions and client introductions.
• Deliver ongoing training, skills labs, and soft‑skill development.
• Work with Compliance to maintain regulatory standards and address caregiver concerns.
• Serve as primary contact for caregiver inquiries, conduct performance evaluations, and support progressive discipline.
• Maintain accurate records of caregiver communications and requests.
• Participate in company meetings, training sessions, and adhere to all policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare or senior‑care management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong time‑management and decision‑making abilities.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to improving quality of life for caregivers and clients.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• 2‑3 professional references.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
