About the role
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking an experienced consultant to design, develop and deliver virtual learning sessions on emotional intelligence for its staff. The role will support leaders in navigating uncertainty, building authentic connections and fostering team resilience.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct a pre‑learning needs assessment and produce an analytical report to shape the curriculum.
- Design and develop learning resources such as presentations, guides, case studies and practical exercises aligned with identified needs.
- Facilitate two cohorts of virtual sessions using adult‑learning methodologies to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Administer post‑learning assessments and compile a comprehensive report on participant feedback, outcomes and lessons learned.
Required profile
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field (or a first‑level degree with relevant experience).
- Minimum seven years of progressive experience in learning design, facilitation, coaching and organisational development.
- Experience working with UN or international organisations in change management or HR development is desirable.
- Strong communication, presentation and facilitation abilities, with a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
