Data Quality Analyst Assistant (Remote)

About the role

JHC Consulting is seeking an entry‑level Data Quality Analyst Assistant to support its expansion projects in Kenya. Working remotely, you will ensure that the data used in strategic memoranda is accurate, consistent, and verifiable.

Key responsibilities

• Verify numbers, dates and claims across internal spreadsheets and original source documents.
• Perform scrub‑checks, audit trail reviews and validation of regional financial reports.
• Maintain organized records of evidence in Microsoft Excel and Notion.
• Apply a quality‑assurance rubric to all data checks and uphold GDPR and local data‑protection standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a natural interest in data clarity.
• Comfortable reading long reports and extracting specific information.
• Background in accounting, finance, or social sciences is preferred.
• Ability to write clear, plain‑English internal communications.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (filters, basic formulas, data validation).
• Notion for record‑keeping and documentation.
