About the role
Amentum is seeking a DDC Technician to support a US Navy water‑systems program on Diego Garcia. The role focuses on inspection, survey, data review and corrective‑action updates required for the Certificate to Operate (CTO) process.
Key responsibilities
- Support inspections, surveys and data reviews for the CTO review process as defined in CNIC M-5090.1A.
- Conduct sanitary surveys and produce detailed assessments of water‑system health and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and gather accurate data for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Update the Requirements Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) to reflect corrective actions and improvements.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions identified during surveys or inspections.
- Review existing documentation, prepare reports and maintain accurate records for compliance.
- Support ongoing performance testing, maintenance and coordination with internal teams and external regulators.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in inspection, assessment, maintenance or compliance of water‑systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with CTO review processes and CNIC M-5090.1A guidelines.
- Experience conducting sanitary surveys and handling RFIs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document and update POAMs.
