Elementary School Tutor – Math & Language Arts (CALT)

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking an Elementary School Tutor specialized in Math and Language Arts to support K‑12 students in Boulder and Jefferson Counties. The role focuses on students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other learning differences, providing tailored instruction and enrichment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver academic support aligned with Colorado state curriculum.
• Create and assign supplemental materials to reinforce concepts.
• Provide remedial and enrichment instruction for individual learning needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid Colorado teaching certificate, or be a student teacher, or have 2+ years private/charter school teaching experience, or university lecturer/TA experience.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with students and families.

Required skills

• Knowledge of state curriculum standards.
• Experience with remedial and enrichment instruction.
