Grants Officer - Sudan

About the role

Humanity & Inclusion is seeking a Grants Officer to oversee its Sudan programmes from its Nairobi office. The role will contribute to the organisation’s response to the severe humanitarian crisis in Sudan, ensuring that donor funding is managed effectively and in line with programme objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor grants dedicated to Sudan interventions, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
• Prepare and submit financial and narrative reports on grant performance.
• Liaise with field teams in Sudan to gather data and verify implementation progress.
• Support the development of grant proposals and budgets aligned with the humanitarian context described.

Required profile

• Experience in grant management or financial administration within the humanitarian sector.
• Understanding of the Sudan crisis, including displacement and food insecurity challenges.
• Ability to work from Nairobi and collaborate with teams operating in conflict‑affected areas.
