GRC Implementation Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced GRC Implementation Consultant to lead the deployment, configuration, and rollout of the Diligent GRC platform for our clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders, audit, risk, compliance, IT teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful adoption of governance, risk, audit, compliance, and policy management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of the Diligent GRC platform, gathering and documenting business, risk, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Configure workflows, forms, dashboards, reporting structures, and user roles; integrate the platform with existing enterprise systems.
• Coordinate data migration, validation, and testing activities.
• Conduct administrator and end‑user training sessions; develop user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, and implementation reports.
• Facilitate workshops with GRC stakeholders, translate requirements into functional specifications, and provide regular project updates.
• Identify risks and issues early, proactively mitigate roadblocks, and ensure project delivery within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Internal Audit, CIA, CPA, CISA, or IIA certification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an internal audit role.
• Hands‑on exposure to ACL, Galvanize or Diligent products (preferred).
• Training or facilitation experience (preferred).
• Experience with audit management software such as Caseware Idea, TeamMate, Barnowl, or Arbutus.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Must be a Kenyan citizen.
