Lead Product Content Manager

About the role

Simple is expanding its health‑focused AI product and needs a Lead Product Content Manager to own the end‑to‑end content programming of Simple Move. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of product ownership and programming leadership, requiring deep content expertise and a data‑driven mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive core product metrics such as renewal rate, workout rating, and plan completion.
• Define the topic roadmap and decide the sequence and progression of 6‑week programs.
• Design workout, weekly, and block‑level programs, including welcome workouts and progression rules.
• Scale content production with the Content Producer, balancing speed, cost, and quality across studio shoots and AI‑generated assets.
• Validate methodology with subject‑matter experts and external master trainers.
• Generate and test programming hypotheses through experiments on welcome workouts, weekly drops, and 6‑week blocks.
• Collaborate on cross‑feature conversion flows (e.g., workout → group chat, workout → educational content).
• Analyze product data to uncover retention and engagement opportunities for a women 40+ audience.

Required profile

• 5+ years building movement programs at scale, with at least 3 years in a mobile/digital fitness product.
• Proven track record of shipping programs that improve engagement and retention.
• Formal background in kinesiology, exercise physiology, sports science, or a comparable field.
• Experience designing for a 40+ female audience, with awareness of perimenopause.
• Strong analytical skills and deep understanding of hypothesis‑driven development.
