Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to join an international client operating in the animal science and nutrition sector in Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth end‑to‑end supply chain operations, from procurement to delivery, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, shipping companies and warehouse managers to guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering materials required for production.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to resolve supply‑chain disruptions and interpret forecasts.
• Communicate order status and delivery issues with vendors to ensure seamless operations.
• Review inventory, pricing and vendor contracts to identify efficiency and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for veterinary remedies.
• Generate reports on purchase orders, inventory, shipment schedules and production plans.
• Identify supply‑chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Analyze historical sales trends, forecast demand and manage replenishment plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of experience in logistics, MRP and forecasting.
• Degree or diploma in Logistics, Quantitative Analytics, Operational Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• Preferably background in animal health or agriculture.
• Strong analytical, planning and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
