National AMR Technical Coordinator – Kenya

About the role
Palladium is seeking a National Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Technical Coordinator to lead the implementation of AMR activities in Kenya under the Tackling Deadly Diseases in Africa Programme Phase 2 (TDDAP2). This full‑time, 10‑month fixed‑term position will be based in Nairobi and will work closely with the country team, consortium partners and national government.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee AMR technical activities across the TDDAP2 programme in Kenya.
- Ensure activities are well‑aligned, technically robust and sustainable beyond the programme life.
- Strengthen AMR governance, surveillance, reporting systems and laboratory capacity using a One Health approach.
- Collaborate with national authorities and implementing partners to integrate AMR work into national health security plans.
- Provide technical assistance and capacity‑building support to government and community stakeholders.
Required profile
- Legal right to live and work in Kenya (no visa sponsorship).
- Experience in AMR programmes, health security or related public‑health initiatives.
- Familiarity with One Health, multisectoral coordination and national action plans.
- Proven ability to work with government agencies and international partners.
