About the role
Equity Bank is seeking a Regional Relationship Manager to deepen relationships with High Net‑Worth Individuals (HNIs) across its Kenyan regions (Coast, North Eastern, Nyanza, Rift Valley and Central). The role focuses on client acquisition, portfolio growth and delivering wealth‑management solutions that drive revenue and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HNI clients in the assigned regions, onboarding new clients and maintaining existing relationships.
- Promote and cross‑sell the bank’s deposit, loan, investment, insurance and wealth‑management products to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the Equity Investment Bank, Equity Leasing and Treasury units to design tailored wealth‑preservation solutions.
- Work closely with cluster branches and regional teams to expand the HNI client base and increase digital channel usage.
- Maintain 100 % CRM utilization, ensure proper client segmentation and meet digital transaction migration goals.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in relationship management, private banking, wealth management or corporate banking, with a proven track record managing HNI portfolios.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIB or CISI are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets, grow portfolio balances and retain high‑value clients.
