Remote Voice Assistant Tester (up to $20/hr)

About the role

We are looking for individuals in East and West Africa to participate in a voice AI research study. As a remote Voice Assistant Tester, you will make short calls to a voice assistant and provide feedback to help improve its performance.

Key responsibilities

• Make five phone calls to a voice assistant over approximately one week.
• Address real‑life questions about health, work, learning, and practical topics.
• Ensure each call lasts 5–15 minutes and ends naturally.
• Complete a brief survey after each call to share feedback.
• Allow call recordings for evaluation purposes.

Required profile

• 18 + years old and residing in Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, or Nigeria.
• Fluent in English.
• Willing to consent to call recording.
• Feature‑phone user or smartphone user with limited or no data plan.
• No prior experience with AI assistants required.

What we offer

• Compensation of $10–$20 per hour, paid based on actual time spent per completed call and survey.
• All call costs covered – participants pay nothing.
