Research Analyst – Securities & Investment Research

About the role

The Research Analyst will join the Research Department, reporting to the Head of Research. The role focuses on securities analysis to support the company’s acquisition of investment products for clients, providing original research for trading, investment committees, and various business units.

Key responsibilities

• Create financial models, presentations and memoranda for internal and external audiences.
• Attend team discussions and client meetings, delivering presentations as needed.
• Develop new investment products in collaboration with the origination team.
• Perform financial due diligence on prospective projects and recommend investment decisions.
• Prepare financial documents such as information memoranda, prospectuses and fact sheets for issuers.
• Provide market updates and maintain knowledge of economic trends and financial market developments.
• Assist in the preparation and updating of marketing materials and transaction documentation.
• Support the Head of Trading with research on local and international equities and bond issues.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to conduct fundamental and technical analysis of stocks, bonds and other investment products.
• Experience in creating financial models and conducting due diligence.
• Ability to produce clear, concise research reports and presentations.
• Familiarity with investment policy development and compliance regulations.
