Resident Engineer – Site Supervision (2 Positions)

About the role

Decalogue International Limited is seeking two dynamic Resident Engineers to join its project supervision team in Garissa County. The role is fully onsite, responsible for overseeing construction works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, technical standards, timelines, and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Act as the primary on‑site representative of the Consultant, liaising with clients, contractors, local authorities and community stakeholders.
• Conduct daily and weekly site inspections, verify material tests, workmanship and quality control procedures.
• Prepare progress reports, maintain correspondence logs, issue registers and project documentation.
• Review and approve construction plans, specifications and schedules; resolve on‑site technical issues.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional registration with the Engineers Board (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in construction supervision and site management.

Required skills

• Construction inspection and supervision.
• Interpretation of architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Quality control and material testing verification.
• Project documentation and reporting.
