Sales Representative – Coast Region

About the role
As a Sales Representative for the Coast Region, you will manage the sales and distribution of BIC World’s consumer products across East Africa. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth, overseeing trade promotions, and developing strong relationships with key customers and third‑party agents.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales volume and value targets for stationery, lighters, shavers and shaving preparations.
- Implement negotiated key‑account promotions and marketing strategies.
- Manage third‑party sales and merchandising agents to meet trade promotion and in‑store share objectives.
- Ensure cost‑effective sales call coverage and high service levels to increase customer sales and area profitability.
- Oversee Sales Agents to meet agreed sales targets, promotional activities and marketing objectives at store level.
- Execute promotions during back‑to‑school and shaver/lighter periods.
- Compile and submit sales and market intelligence reports, including trade surveys, audits and competitor activity.
- Build and maintain solid trade relationships, identify new customers and sales opportunities.
- Increase numeric and weighted distribution of existing and new products within the territory.
Required profile
- Self‑starter with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop sales agents.
- Strong analytical skills to track market trends and competitor activity.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
- Results‑oriented with a focus on achieving sales and coverage targets.
