About the role
The Senior Business Development and Events Coordinator will drive the firm’s business development and marketing agenda by planning, executing and overseeing high‑impact client events. This role ensures seamless campaign delivery, strengthens client engagement and enhances brand visibility.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on event selection and planning to internal stakeholders.
- Lead the events team to deliver internal and external events successfully.
- Develop detailed project plans and manage event budgets.
- Draft invitations in line with Bowmans style guide and manage RSVPs via the CRM system.
- Coordinate with the central BD team to secure appropriate marketing collateral.
- Handle unforeseen event issues and act as brand ambassador at Bowmans events.
- Update event information across CRM, website and internal platforms.
- Manage supplier relationships, review contracts and ensure compliance with procurement policy.
- Support BD initiatives, campaigns and client‑facing content development.
- Maintain consistency of messaging across all channels and activities.
- Track BD activities and events against budget and prepare monthly performance reports.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree or relevant marketing qualification.
- 5‑8 years of event management experience, preferably in professional services or legal environments.
- Proven ability to plan and manage corporate events end‑to‑end, including budgeting and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
