Senior UX Designer

About the role

Equity Group Holdings is looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead the end‑to‑end design of complex financial applications. You will translate business goals and user insights into intuitive, high‑impact digital experiences across mobile, web, USSD and chatbot channels.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the design process from research and concept through wireframes, prototypes and usability testing.
• Translate concepts into user flows, mockups and high‑fidelity prototypes that align with the group’s digital vision.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Advocate for optimal user experience outcomes and communicate design rationale across teams.
• Contribute to, maintain and evolve a design system that guarantees consistency and scalability.
• Develop and document design standards, guidelines and accessibility best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing complex financial applications such as mobile banking or investment tools.
• Proven ability to work in Agile, cross‑functional teams and deliver refined designs under tight timelines.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid design process, interaction and visual design skills.
• Understanding of financial regulatory requirements and security best practices.
• Well‑organized, self‑learning and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Knowledge of design systems, responsive design principles and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing.
