Technical Lead – Software Engineering

About the role

The Technical Lead provides technical direction and engineering oversight across multiple agile squads within the Software Engineering Centre of Excellence. You will work closely with architects, product owners, developers and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, high‑quality software solutions that align with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development and delivery of enterprise software solutions across several squads.
• Drive solution architecture, technical decision‑making and alignment with platform standards.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners and stakeholders to define technical requirements and delivery approaches.
• Ensure consistent implementation of coding standards, security controls, QA processes and DevOps practices.
• Support sprint planning, estimation, technical road‑maps and delivery execution.
• Review and approve technical designs, code quality and implementation approaches.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies and blockers.
• Mentor and coach engineers to raise technical capability and engineering maturity.
• Contribute to reusable assets, frameworks, accelerators and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 8–10 years of software engineering experience.
• 3–5 years of experience leading engineering teams or technical delivery initiatives.
• Strong background in enterprise application architecture, system integration and API design.
