Account Manager – Client Services & Operations

About the role

Suss Ads, a leading African AdTech company, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to own client relationships and ensure flawless delivery of digital advertising campaigns. The role sits at the intersection of clients, sales, operations, creative, technology, finance and leadership teams, driving both client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for assigned client accounts, building trusted relationships and understanding business objectives.
• Translate client briefs into actionable internal plans with clear timelines, deliverables and ownership.
• Lead client meetings, campaign reviews, quarterly business reviews and performance discussions.
• Coordinate campaign execution from planning and launch through optimization, reporting and closure, working closely with media, operations, creative and technology teams.
• Monitor timelines, budgets and performance, enforce quality assurance processes and maintain project trackers and delivery dashboards.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Improve coordination and workflow across commercial, client service, finance, creative and technology functions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, checklists and escalation frameworks, tracking critical client dependencies such as approvals, assets, contracts and payments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management or client services within digital advertising or related fields.
• Highly organized with strong operational discipline.
• Commercially minded with a focus on revenue growth and client retention.
• Proactive, able to anticipate issues and drive solutions.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising channels and campaign workflows.
