Accountant / Auditor

About the role

micro1 is seeking experienced Accountant/Auditor professionals to support a customer project that combines rigorous financial oversight with the training of next‑generation AI systems. Your finance expertise will directly influence how AI models learn from real‑world financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Develop and validate financial models using advanced Excel functions.
• Assess and document audit procedures and internal control frameworks.
• Analyze tax compliance documentation and ensure alignment with relevant regulations.
• Prepare detailed written reports summarising findings and recommendations.
• Contribute real‑world scenarios and case studies to inform AI model development.
• Provide concise, constructive feedback on financial documentation and reporting best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in financial reporting, audit, or tax compliance.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and international reporting requirements.
• Proven track record conducting audits and preparing audit documentation for diverse entities.
• Ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly in written and verbal formats.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly valued.
• Experience with process improvements or technology‑driven finance projects is a plus.
