About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Nairobi office. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile General Ledger accounts.
  • Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
  • Perform bank and financial reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Assist with cash‑flow monitoring and financial analysis.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong General Ledger experience.
  • Advanced English (C1 level) – mandatory.

Required skills

  • QuickBooks (advanced proficiency).
  • Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
  • Solid understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Hands‑on experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • General Ledger management.
