Accountant (Mid-level)

About the role

The Finance team at Bridge Talent Management is looking for a diligent Accountant to support its retail and FMCG operations in Nairobi. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end management of receivables, payables and partner transactions while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full cycle invoicing, collections and vendor payments; perform regular reconciliations of customer and supplier accounts.
• Reconcile partner and third‑party seller transactions, maintain accurate partner records and support payout reporting.
• Collect and analyse market pricing data, monitor margins and provide insights for pricing and procurement decisions.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, ensure records are audit‑ready and comply with tax regulations.
• Oversee petty‑cash transactions, reconcile balances and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA (intermediate level or above) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 3 years of finance experience, preferably in FMCG, retail or fast‑paced environments.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and self‑motivation.
