Accounts Assistant – Finance Support

About the role

The Accounts Assistant will support the day‑to‑day operations of the Accounts department for a well‑established autofitment company in Westlands, Nairobi. The role requires a detail‑oriented individual who can manage both administrative and accounting tasks efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time.
• Prepare payment vouchers and maintain proper financial documentation.
• Perform bank, petty cash, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including follow‑up on outstanding balances.
• Assist in budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, and procurement verification.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (2nd Upper or above).
• Full CPA‑K or ACCA qualification.
• KCSE grade B+ or higher.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
