Accounts Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Rangechem Pharmaceuticals Limited in Nairobi. The role supports daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reconciliations. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support the financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in line with accounting principles.
• Perform bank, cash and account reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate ledger entries and support audit processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting queries.
• Process invoices and expense claims accurately.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Mid‑level professional with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
