Admissions Counselor

About the role

The Admissions Counselor is the first point of contact for prospective students and drives enrollment revenue for TechCru. You will engage leads through phone, WhatsApp and email, guiding them from interest to application and payment.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective students daily via phone, WhatsApp, and email.
• Present academic programs clearly, confidently, and persuasively.
• Identify applicant needs, handle objections, and guide prospects toward application and enrollment.
• Assist applicants step‑by‑step through the admissions process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
• Explain enrollment fees, follow up on payments, and coordinate with Finance to confirm receipt.
• Maintain detailed records of all interactions, application updates, and payment status in the CRM.
• Provide regular performance and pipeline updates to the Admissions Team Lead.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in telesales, call centres, or high‑volume customer acquisition.
• Strong persuasive communication skills and confidence speaking with prospective clients.
• Ability to handle objections, follow up persistently, and close sales.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems such as Zoho or Salesforce.
• Proficiency with WhatsApp and other messaging tools for sales communication.
