About the role
The Assistant Bakery & Pastry Chef will support the bakery team in preparing a wide range of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and desserts. Working in a fast‑paced kitchen, you will help maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation and food safety.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and desserts according to recipes.
- Ensure consistent product quality and attractive presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Support the senior chef in recipe development and menu planning.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Bakery or Pastry Chef.
- Formal culinary training or relevant certification.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
- Excellent creativity, organization and time‑management abilities.
