About the role
Solar Panda Kenya is seeking an Assistant Field Sales Manager to support the Field Sales Manager in driving sales of solar home systems across rural areas. The role focuses on building and guiding a network of commission‑based field agents to meet regional sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Field Sales Manager in achieving area sales targets.
- Recruit, onboard and train new field agents.
- Accompany agents on field visits, providing coaching, support and performance feedback.
- Monitor market dynamics, customer behaviour, product demand and competitor activity, and report insights to management.
- Identify new sales opportunities and contribute to lead‑generation strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement local sales initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum of 2 years experience in sales or micro‑finance, preferably in rural settings.
- Experience supporting or managing sales teams is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and planning abilities.
- Diploma in a relevant field is a plus.
