Assistant Procurement Manager – Technology

About the role

The Assistant Procurement Manager will support the Supply Chain Manager in leading the end‑to‑end procurement of technology goods and services across CIC Group. This position focuses on strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The role contributes to delivering value‑driven outcomes for the organization’s technology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate procurement of hardware, software, licences, subscriptions, support, maintenance, telecommunications and related professional services.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and procurement plans aligned with business objectives and budgets.
• Manage the full sourcing cycle from requirement validation through solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, award and contract issuance.
• Apply appropriate sourcing methods such as competitive bidding, framework agreements, and OEM/reseller sourcing in line with policy.
• Coordinate contract, licence and renewal management, ensuring commercial terms are captured accurately.
• Oversee vendor performance, third‑party risk, sustainability considerations and procurement governance.

Required profile

• Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.
• Minimum of 1 month experience in procurement or a related function.
