Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Fireside Group Ltd is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of construction projects in Nairobi. You will work closely with the Project Manager and field teams to ensure daily activities are coordinated and project milestones are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project activities.
• Coordinate with field teams and manage work schedules to achieve daily deliverables.
• Prepare daily and weekly project reports for internal and client review.
• Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed user expectations and comply with QEHS standards.
• Track project progress, monitor client timelines and service level agreements.
• Communicate updates and reports to clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and expansion.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Telecommunications, Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar project support role.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Project management certification is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Suites).
