Benefits Associate (HR Assistant)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Benefits Associate to support the administration of employee benefits and retirement plans. The role is on‑site in Westlands, Nairobi and offers full‑time exposure to operational HR processes, data reconciliation and stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Process employee benefit elections and updates in internal systems.
• Manage retirement plan contributions and ensure accurate payment processing.
• Monitor, investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal systems and vendor portals.
• Set up, modify and maintain retirement plans and loans.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation activities.
• Update payment trackers and operational records with real‑time information.
• Respond to requests from internal teams and external clients.
• Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.

Required profile

• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2–B2+).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and administrative abilities.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work within a team.
• Comfort with repetitive processes and data validation.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
