About the role
The Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is seeking an entry‑level Buildings Engineering Technologist to support the upkeep of its campus facilities. You will work on identifying, planning and executing repair and maintenance tasks for buildings and related infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Identify repair and maintenance requirements and report them to the supervisor.
- Prepare repair and maintenance schedules.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance for buildings and related infrastructure.
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
Required profile
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Bachelor of Quantity Surveying is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and reporting abilities.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
