Business Development Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Administrator to support Tarpo Industries’ commercial operations in Nairobi. The role bridges finance, contract management and field teams to ensure projects are priced accurately, invoiced on time and delivered profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Review event quotes and project files, verifying transport, labour, asset costs and margin targets before client dispatch.
• Draft, issue and maintain client contracts, supplier SLAs and scope documents to protect the company and enable smooth delivery.
• Prepare eTIMS‑compliant tax invoices, credit notes and receipts, and keep accurate financial records for audit purposes.
• Confirm payment terms and deposits are secured before projects are handed to Operations, coordinating closely with both teams.
• Produce regular revenue, payment tracking and project‑margin reports for the Head of Division.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial administration, project finance or billing.
• Practical knowledge of KRA eTIMS invoicing and Kenyan commercial contract fundamentals.
• Strong analytical mindset, high integrity and attention to detail.
• Willingness to support field teams and conduct occasional outdoor site visits.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with eTIMS invoicing system.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and invoicing software.
