Business Development Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Associate to accelerate the adoption of our property management software platform. You will generate new leads, showcase the solution to landlords, property managers and developers, and help grow our monthly recurring revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate leads from landlords, property managers, estate agents, SACCOs and developers.
• Schedule and deliver software demonstrations both online and in‑person.
• Articulate platform features, benefits and pricing to prospects and convert them into paying customers.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking forums.
• Onboard new clients, assist with account setup, data migration and training.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing customers, upsell additional modules and monitor feedback.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular sales pipeline reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Commerce, Real Estate, IT or a related field.
• 1–3 years of B2B sales, business development or account management experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling SaaS or technology products is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho or Salesforce.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and basic data handling for client onboarding.
• Ability to conduct persuasive product demonstrations (online and face‑to‑face).
• Knowledge of data migration from spreadsheets or legacy systems.

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary between KES 45,000 and KES 60,000.
