About the role
The Business Development Executive will drive growth for BDIT COLLEGE by identifying and securing new training contracts across corporate, government, NGO and donor sectors. You will act as the primary liaison between the college and client organisations, promoting a wide range of professional and customised training programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for corporate, government, NGO and donor‑funded training programmes.
- Market BDIT COLLEGE’s professional, executive, technical, entrepreneurship and customised training solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with HR managers, L&D managers, training coordinators and procurement officers.
- Prepare high‑quality proposals, EOIs, quotations and technical presentations.
- Follow up on enquiries and convert them into confirmed training assignments.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns to increase enrolment in open and customised programmes.
- Conduct market research to spot emerging training needs.
- Organise client visits, presentations, exhibitions, networking events and stakeholder forums.
- Develop strategic partnerships with organisations seeking staff development services.
- Track opportunities, proposals, conversion rates and training revenue.
- Support digital marketing initiatives and collaborate with trainers to design client‑focused solutions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, Commerce, Education, Project Management or related field (or a diploma with 3 years sales/marketing experience).
- Minimum 5 years experience in business development, sales, marketing or corporate training.
- Proven experience selling training, consultancy, learning and development or professional services.
- Experience engaging government institutions, NGOs, corporate organisations, universities or development partners is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
