Business Development Officer

About the role

Access Platinum Capital Limited is seeking a Business Development Officer to drive growth of its innovative, technology‑enabled financing solutions for SMEs, suppliers and individuals. You will build relationships, identify market opportunities and match customers with the right credit products.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve business growth targets by prospecting new market segments and converting leads into customers.
• Plan and participate in outreach activities, educational forums and promotional events to raise product awareness.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and recommend suitable financial products based on client needs.
• Receive, verify and appraise loan applications, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML and product requirements.
• Monitor loan portfolios, track repayment performance and support recovery actions for delinquent accounts.
• Conduct field visits and due‑diligence assessments to evaluate business performance and repayment capacity.
• Assist in loan restructuring and rescheduling by reviewing client requests and preparing recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales or financial services.
• University or college degree, preferably in finance, business or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SME financing, supply‑chain finance and related credit products.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet set targets.
