Business Development & Operations Executive

About the role

Irux Properties Limited is launching a new real‑estate venture and needs an energetic, commercially‑minded professional to help set up and run day‑to‑day operations. The role combines business development, property research, and operational coordination, offering a hands‑on experience beyond a typical desk job.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research potential property and investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, agents, developers and other industry participants.
• Conduct preliminary research on properties, locations, pricing and comparables.
• Coordinate inspections, valuations, surveys, photography and due‑diligence activities.
• Maintain an organised database of properties, buyers, investors and contacts.
• Follow up prospective sellers, buyers and business leads.
• Assist in obtaining property documentation and mandates.
• Prepare briefs, reports, presentations and other business materials.
• Support marketing, advertising and business‑development initiatives.
• Manage meetings, appointments, correspondence and follow‑ups.
• Coordinate external professionals and service providers.
• Monitor assignments to ensure actions and deadlines are met.
• Work closely with management to implement new ideas, systems and initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in real estate, property sales, business development, operations, financial services, a startup or fast‑moving commercial environment.
• Relevant academic background such as Real Estate, Land Economics, Business, Commerce, Finance, Marketing or similar.
• Strong initiative, ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with diverse stakeholders.
