CEO/Principal Officer

About the role

A leading insurance brokerage is seeking a dynamic CEO/Principal Officer to lead the development of a medical insurance broking business across individual, SME and corporate segments. The role will build an agile startup leveraging the reputation of a 20‑year‑old sister firm.

Key responsibilities

• Define the startup’s unique value proposition and long‑term strategic roadmap.
• Build operational frameworks, workflows and technology stacks from scratch.
• Lead aggressive customer acquisition and capitalize on the sister firm’s reputation.
• Collaborate with sister‑firm leadership to unlock cross‑selling opportunities and provide regular updates to the Board.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years experience in insurance brokerage or healthcare leadership.
• Proven experience launching a business unit, startup or new division.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Healthcare; MBA is a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to build systems independently.
• Existing executive‑level relationships with major health insurance carriers.
• Expert at shifting between high‑level strategy and hands‑on execution.
• Familiarity with modern CRM tools.
