About the role
We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to lead a section of our kitchen in Nairobi. This full‑time position offers the chance to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, ensuring high‑quality dishes and smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to required quality and presentation standards.
- Manage a designated kitchen section and coordinate daily operations.
- Ensure the use of fresh ingredients, maintain food quality, and control portion sizes.
- Contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
- Lead, train, and guide junior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Required profile
- Culinary qualification (Certificate or Diploma).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
Required skills
- Excellent knife skills.
- Proficient cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles.
- Understanding of food safety regulations.
