College Athletics Recruiting Advisor – Sports (Swimming, Tennis, Golf, etc.)

About the role

Crimson Education is seeking sport‑specific Athletic Strategy Consultants to mentor and guide collegiate‑bound student‑athletes. This fully remote, contract position allows you to set your own schedule while helping athletes navigate the recruiting process.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain meaningful mentoring relationships with student‑athletes in your sport.
• Conduct regular video‑chat sessions (one hour every 5 weeks for sophomores and below; one hour every 3 weeks for juniors and seniors).
• Communicate consistently via Crimson’s tech platform and email.
• Hold athletes accountable for training logs, competition reflections, and recruitment documentation.
• Review and provide feedback on performance film and recruitment videos.
• Research and recommend camps, showcases, and exposure opportunities.
• Develop personalized recruitment plans with realistic expectations.
• Advise athletes throughout the recruiting journey and liaise with college coaches when appropriate.
• Update parents on athlete progress as needed.

Required profile

• Experience playing and/or coaching at a top university.
• Passion for mentoring teenagers.
• Deep understanding of the college recruiting process.
• High character and exceptional interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic planning and organizational competence.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
