Corporate Credit Analyst

About the role

The Corporate Credit Analyst will independently evaluate credit proposals and provide concise analysis summaries for senior credit review committees. This position supports the bank’s corporate lending portfolio while ensuring compliance with Shariah, KYC, and AML policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent credit reviews of corporate borrowers, including complex structuring and risk assessment.
• Prepare and submit detailed analysis summaries for credit decisions above delegated authority.
• Apply relevant Shariah policies and processes to all credit evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to bank policies such as KYC, AML, and product‑specific guidelines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of economic sectors, client industries, and credit risk trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or business‑related field; MBA or MSc is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financing function, with strong exposure to credit evaluation and structuring.
• Thorough understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment, and sector‑specific dynamics.

Required skills

• High computer literacy, especially MS Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Word.
