Data Analyst – Digital Operations & ICT

About the role

Huawei is seeking a local Kenyan Data Analyst to support digital operations and platform adoption across the Southern African region and its representative offices. The role blends hands‑on data analysis with digital operations, turning business and operational data into actionable insights that drive frontline projects and regional business development.

Key responsibilities

• Support digital operations and platform activities across the Southern African region and representative offices.
• Manage the data lifecycle: cleansing, preparation, modelling, analysis and visualization.
• Design analytical logic and develop practical data solutions for business and operational needs.
• Produce dashboards, reports and visualisations using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Assist in the deployment, adoption and continuous improvement of digital platforms and data capabilities.
• Support representative offices and partners with the introduction and operation of digital capabilities.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives through data and platform capabilities.
• Participate in specialised operational projects, including planning and execution of data‑driven initiatives.

Required profile

• Understanding of the ICT industry and carrier/operator network technical architecture (preferred).
• Knowledge of enterprise IT architecture and ICT industry trends (advantageous).
• Strong grasp of data analysis methodologies, statistical principles and data visualisation.
• Experience with data cleansing, analysis, modelling and reporting.
• Both experienced professionals and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• English is the working language; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
