Data Analyst – Humanitarian Programs

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Data Analyst to support its humanitarian programs in Nairobi. You will turn complex data from grants, finance and program systems into actionable insights that guide global strategy and improve impact.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations and reports using Power BI or Tableau to monitor program performance.
• Extract, clean and analyse large datasets from systems such as Integra, OTIS, Salesforce and PID.
• Collaborate with programs, fundraising, marketing and finance teams to ensure data meets stakeholder needs.
• Identify and implement improvements to data collection and reporting processes.
• Stay current on analytics trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional data‑analytics experience.
• 2 years of experience in international humanitarian aid or development.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and the ability to communicate insights clearly.
• Detail‑oriented, collaborative and proactive in cross‑functional environments.
