About the role
Qutis Health is seeking a board‑certified dermatologist to join its Nairobi team. The clinician will lead on‑site evaluation of AI‑driven dermatology tools, ensuring they perform accurately for Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin tones. The role blends patient care with technology oversight.
Key responsibilities
- Review and audit dermatology AI outputs against clinical cases.
- Validate AI‑generated assessments and document findings in a structured format.
- Conduct patient‑facing consultations and provide treatment recommendations.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to refine diagnostic criteria.
- Participate in educational sessions, internal training, and community outreach on skin‑of‑color health.
Required profile
- Medical licensure and board certification in dermatology.
- Proven experience diagnosing and managing skin conditions in diverse skin tones, especially Fitzpatrick IV–VI.
- Background in cosmetic dermatology, non‑invasive procedures, and acne management for darker skin.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills for clinical‑AI audits.
- Interest or experience in digital health, AI, or technology‑enabled dermatology care.
