Digital & E-commerce Assistant Manager

About the role

The Digital & E‑commerce Assistant Manager will support the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing in driving direct revenue through the hotel’s digital channels. This role focuses on executing the digital marketing strategy, maintaining the website and booking engine, and ensuring brand consistency across all online platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing the annual digital marketing plan aligned with business objectives.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor paid search, display, email, social media and remarketing campaigns.
• Support content creation, photography, video production and promotional initiatives.
• Manage the hotel website and booking engine, ensuring accurate content, brand compliance and timely updates of offers and landing pages.
• Monitor website performance, user experience and recommend improvements to increase traffic, engagement and conversion rates.
• Track online travel agency content, rate parity and promotional opportunities.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimise online merchandising and conversion strategies.
• Produce regular performance reports, dashboards and insights for digital channels.
• Analyse guest behaviour and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Support social media planning and execution, and monitor online guest reviews and reputation platforms.
