Economics, Statistics & Data Management Internship

About the role

The African Development Bank offers a structured internship for students to gain professional and practical experience in economics, statistics and data management. The programme also creates a talent pool for future recruitment, though it does not guarantee immediate employment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tasks in economics, statistics and data management as assigned by the hiring unit.
• Work remotely or on‑site depending on the needs of the unit, ensuring reliable internet and a suitable work environment.

Required profile

• Be a national of an African Development Bank member country and aged 30 or younger.
• Currently enrolled in a recognised master’s programme (or within one year of graduation).
• Fluent in English or French.
• Be able to use standard Bank software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); SAP knowledge is a plus.
