ERJ 145 Captain

About the role

ALS Limited is seeking an experienced ERJ 145 Captain to join its operations at Wilson Airport, Nairobi. The successful candidate will command commercial flights, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the ERJ 145 aircraft on scheduled and charter missions.
• Maintain strict compliance with IATA regulations, air safety standards, and local aviation authority requirements.
• Oversee pre‑flight planning, aircraft handling, refuelling, and ground operations.
• Coordinate with air traffic control and manage in‑flight navigation using instrument rating qualifications.
• Lead the flight crew, providing guidance and ensuring crew resource management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3,000 total flight hours, with at least 500 hours on the ERJ 145 type.
• At least 500 hours as Pilot‑in‑Command on the ERJ 145.
• Valid ICAO ATPL with an instrument rating.
• Minimum 6 flight hours logged in the past six months and current type rating.
• Willingness to work a rotation of 6 weeks on‑site followed by 2 weeks off.
• Diploma or Associate’s degree in a relevant field.
